  • Why should I use a cleaning service?

  • How long should a cleaning take?
    On average a standard cleaning of a 1-bedroom apartment may take approximately 2-3 hours, whereas a deep cleaning may take 4-5 hours. Apartments with pets that shed or have incontinence challenges may need additional attention and take longer. In general, cleaning times will vary depending on the apartment size, the level of dirt and the frequency of maintenance cleaning that is scheduled. Homes that receive services on a weekly or biweekly basis with us will take less time after the initial deep cleaning and 1 to 2 standard services.
  • What is a deep cleaning vs a standard cleaning?
    A deep cleaning is a more comprehensive scrubbing and tidying up of the home. During an initial cleaning, it also allows your cleaning crew to identify challenge areas that will need to be the focus of weekly or biweekly standard cleanings to prevent a build-up of dirt. A deep cleaning may also include additional services like baseboard dusting, grout treatment, interior window cleaning, and appliance interiors not covered during a standard cleaning due to time constraints, or services that are only necessary on a seasonal basis. Standard cleanings provide the proactive upkeep between deep cleaning services that is necessary to ensure the mess doesn't pile up. It also helps with regular hygiene and sanitization, reduces pet and other allergens in the home, and ensures the resident the highest level of comfort and clarity of mind that comes from having a tidy home.
  • How many cleaning people will be in my home?
    Depending on the intensity of the work, a deep cleaning may include 2-3 team members. This is especially true for new clients that have never scheduled a deep cleaning with us, those who have larger homes, or clients with custom needs that require extra detail and time. Please note that homes with pets will usually require more attention to dust, pet dander and may be more time consuming. In some instances after several services , a home may require only 1 cleaner.
